Written in plain English — because you deserve to understand how your information is handled.

1. What Information We Collect
We only collect the information we need to verify sellers and communicate with you. Here is exactly what we collect and why:
Your Email Address
We need this to send you your verification results. We also use it to contact you if we have questions about your submission, or if you have an account with us.
Seller URLs and Links You Submit
When you ask us to verify a seller, you share a link or URL with us. We use this to run our verification checks. We keep a record of the verification so we can refer back to it if needed.
Screenshots You Upload
If you upload a screenshot of a listing or conversation, we store it securely so our team can review it as part of the verification process.
Your IP Address
Your IP address is a number that identifies your internet connection. We collect it automatically to protect our service from abuse and to help us understand where our users are located (country level only — we do not track your exact location).
Usage Data
We collect basic information about how you use our website — such as which pages you visit and how long you stay. This helps us make the website easier to use. We do not track your activity on other websites.
Payment Information
If you purchase a membership or paid verification, your payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe handles all payment details securely.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you share with us for these purposes — and only these purposes:
- To verify sellers: This is our core service. We use the links, screenshots, and details you submit to run our verification checks and produce your result.
- To send you results and updates: We use your email address to deliver your verification results, membership information, and important service updates (like changes to our terms or pricing).
- To respond to your questions: If you contact us, we use your information to answer your questions and help you.
- To improve our service: We analyze usage patterns (not individual behavior) to make our website easier to use and our verification process more accurate.
- To prevent fraud and abuse: We use IP addresses and usage data to detect and prevent misuse of our service.
3. What We Never Do With Your Information
This section is just as important as what we do. Here are our firm commitments:
We Never Sell Your Data
Your information is not for sale. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. This is not negotiable.
We Never Share With Advertisers
We do not share your email, your browsing habits, or any personal details with advertising companies.
We Never Send Marketing Without Consent
We will not add you to a marketing email list unless you specifically choose to join one. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click.
4. How We Protect Your Information
We take the security of your information seriously. Here is how we keep it safe:
256-Bit Encryption
All information you send to us is encrypted using 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption — the same technology banks use to protect your online banking. This means that even if someone intercepted your data in transit, they could not read it.
Secure Servers
Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers with strict access controls. Only authorized team members can access your information, and only when necessary to provide our service.
Regular Security Reviews
We regularly review our security practices and update them as needed to stay ahead of new threats. We never become complacent about your safety.
5. Your Rights
You have important rights when it comes to your personal information. These rights apply whether you live in Europe (under GDPR), California (under CCPA), or anywhere else. We believe everyone deserves these protections:
Right to Access
You can ask us what information we have about you at any time. We will provide it to you in a clear, readable format — usually within 30 days.
Right to Correct
If any information we have about you is wrong, you can ask us to fix it. Just email us and tell us what needs to be corrected.
Right to Delete
You can ask us to delete all the information we have about you. We will do so within 30 days, unless we are legally required to keep certain records.
Right to Opt Out
You can opt out of any non-essential communications at any time. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
Right to Data Portability
You can request a copy of your data in a standard format that you can take to another service.
Right to Complain
If you believe we are not handling your data properly, you have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
6. Cookies and Tracking
Cookies are small files that websites store on your computer to remember things about you. Here is how we use them:
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or social media trackers. We keep our tracking minimal and respectful of your privacy.
7. Third-Party Services
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate our business. Each one has its own privacy policy, and we have chosen them carefully:
Stripe (Payment Processing)
When you make a payment, it is handled by Stripe — one of the most trusted payment processors in the world. We never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Resend (Email Delivery)
We use Resend to deliver emails to you — including your verification results and account notifications. Resend processes your email address on our behalf and is contractually required to protect it.
We do not use any third-party advertising networks, social media tracking tools, or data brokers.
8. Children's Privacy
Secure Verify Online is not designed for or directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@secureverifyonline.com and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new feature or if privacy laws change. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
- If the changes are significant, we will notify you by email or by placing a notice on our website.
- We will never make changes that reduce your rights without giving you clear notice and, where required by law, obtaining your consent.
We encourage you to check this page periodically, but we will always let you know about important changes.
10. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this privacy policy, want to exercise your rights, or just want to understand something better — please reach out. We are real people and we will respond.
