1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Secure Verify Online ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Cloud Magic Software Group (CMSG). Our website is located at secureverifyonline.com.
By using our website, submitting a verification request, creating an account, or subscribing to any of our plans, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our service.
We have written these terms in plain, everyday language because we believe you should be able to understand the agreement you are making. If anything is unclear, please contact us at support@secureverifyonline.com and we will be happy to explain.
2. What We Provide
Secure Verify Online is a consumer protection service that helps people check whether an online seller is trustworthy before making a purchase. When you submit a seller for verification, we review available information and provide you with our assessment.
Our verification results are informational opinions based on the data available to us at the time of review. They represent our best professional assessment of a seller's trustworthiness, but they are not guarantees, warranties, or certifications of any kind.
Think of our service like asking a knowledgeable friend to look into a seller for you. We will give you our honest opinion and explain what we found, but the final decision about whether to buy is always yours.
3. Important Disclaimers
Please read this section carefully. It explains the limits of what our service can do, and we want to be completely upfront with you.
- Our results are our best assessment, not a guarantee. When we rate a seller as "Safe," "Caution," or "Avoid," that rating reflects our professional opinion based on the information we could find at that time. It is not a guarantee that the seller is or is not legitimate.
- A "Safe" result does not mean guaranteed safe. Even sellers who pass all of our checks could still turn out to be dishonest. Scammers change their methods constantly, and no verification process can catch every fraud every time. A "Safe" result means we did not find warning signs — it does not mean warning signs do not exist.
- We are not responsible for losses from transactions. If you buy from a seller — even one we rated as "Safe" — and something goes wrong, we are not liable for any money you lose, products you do not receive, or any other damages resulting from that transaction.
- Our results are informational opinions only. Our verification results are not legal advice, financial advice, or professional certifications. They are the informed opinion of our verification team based on available evidence.
- Always use a credit card for purchase protection. No matter what our verification result says, we strongly recommend paying with a credit card whenever possible. Credit cards offer fraud protection that other payment methods (like debit cards, wire transfers, gift cards, Zelle, or Venmo) do not. This is your best safety net.
4. User Accounts and Subscriptions
You may use our free verification service without creating an account. However, to access paid features or to manage your verification history, you will need to create an account.
When you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others
- Notify us immediately if you believe someone else has accessed your account
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use our services.
5. Free and Paid Plans
We offer the following plans:
All paid plans are billed monthly. Prices may change, but we will always notify you at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. You will never be charged a higher rate without advance notice.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. There are no cancellation fees, no long-term contracts, and no tricks. Here is how it works:
- Cancel anytime: You can cancel from your account settings or by emailing us at support@secureverifyonline.com.
- Prorated refunds: If you cancel partway through a billing period, we will refund the unused portion of your subscription.
- Access continues until period ends: After canceling, you will keep access to your paid features until the end of the current billing period.
- Your data stays available: After canceling, you can still log in and view your past verification results. We do not delete your history unless you ask us to.
7. Acceptable Use
We built this service to help honest people shop safely. To keep it working well for everyone, you agree not to:
- Abuse the service: Do not submit fake verification requests, use the service to harass sellers, or submit requests in bad faith.
- Use automated tools: Do not use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to access our website or submit verification requests. Our service is designed for real people, not software.
- Commit fraud: Do not use our service, our verification results, or our trust badges to deceive others or commit fraud of any kind.
- Resell or redistribute: Do not resell our verification results or share your account access with others for commercial purposes.
- Interfere with operations: Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise our systems, servers, or security measures.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. If we do, we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to respond, unless the violation involves fraud or illegal activity.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website — including text, graphics, logos, the Secure Verify Online name and brand, our verification badges, and our software — belongs to Cloud Magic Software Group (CMSG) or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.
When you submit a seller for verification, you retain ownership of any content you provide (such as screenshots or notes). By submitting that content, you give us permission to use it for the purpose of performing the verification and improving our service.
Our Seller Badge is licensed, not sold. Sellers who subscribe to our Seller Badge Plan may display the badge on their listings only while their subscription is active and in good standing. The badge may not be modified, altered, or used in any misleading way.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Secure Verify Online and Cloud Magic Software Group (CMSG) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our service, including but not limited to:
- Financial losses from transactions with sellers we have reviewed
- Damages resulting from reliance on our verification results
- Loss of data, revenue, or profits
- Damages from unauthorized access to your account
In plain English: We do our best to give you accurate information, but if something goes wrong with a purchase — even from a seller we reviewed — we cannot be held financially responsible. Our service is a tool to help you make better decisions, not an insurance policy.
Our total liability to you for any and all claims related to our service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. If you used only our free plan, our liability is limited to $0.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our service will be resolved in the courts located in the State of Texas. By using our service, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Before taking any legal action, we ask that you contact us first at support@secureverifyonline.com. Most issues can be resolved through a conversation, and we would rather work things out with you directly.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make changes, we will:
- Update the "Effective" date at the top of this page
- Post the updated terms on our website
- Notify you by email if the changes are significant (such as changes to pricing, liability, or your rights)
Your continued use of our service after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your account at any time.
